Welcome back!! In this blog, I would like to discuss with you my overall placement experiences and the things I acquired during this exposure. To begin with, this placing has improved my personal fitness where I lost 5 pounds of weight in six weeks of training. This increased my confidence, helped me to learn the importance of being fit and motivated me to participate in fitness programs even after my placement. I was also able to improve my muscle strength and endurance after involving in body 360 and athletic training programs.
I learned how to use all the fitness equipment's like the barbell, kettlebell, stability ball, foam roller, battle ropes, straps, TRX, cable machine, elliptical, stepper, etc.
I was able to feel the importance of music to encourage clients. Music not only plays a supporting role in the background or assisting in the relaxation of the participants but also incorporates tempo or rate of speed (BPM) for mixed cardio and strength classes. Music selection and volume also plays a key role in group classes.
Learned about following proper hygiene routine before and after workouts. Identified the significance of giving options (especially regression) for the exercises performed during group fitness programs. It is also vital to frequently check on the comfort level of all clients by asking for their feedback during the workouts, especially among senior citizens. Overall, I had a remarkable experience at the Allandale Recreation Center and the knowledge I accomplished here will help me to succeed in my career.

As you have participated in variety of Fitness classes you must have an idea about the recent trends in the industry and what should be the best choice for which you can get certified. Also, participating in various classes gives you the insight of what personally you like the most. I totally love that you talked about the role of music in the Fitness class. Music act as a driving force for me and always help me to achieve those last few steps or repetitions. You also talked about giving options for each exercise, yes, it is must because you never get similar level of fitness in a class and it is safe practice too specially when you have older participants.
